Asks 'where is papa going?' When we detoured to go tabao food. Happened to see McDonald's at this point and said 'papa going McDonald's!' (To his disappointment, we were not)

While playing masak masak:
Papa: can I buy the carrot?
Galen: no cannot. Carrot dirty. Buy brinjal. Brinjal ok.
Fuss over pillow case
Galen was preparing for bed when he realized his pillow is different from usual. He proceeded to whine and insist that we take out the 'cover'.
Explained to him that the pillow is without it's cover cos it's being washed and hanging up to dry now.
Brought him the wet pillowcase and asked if he would like to sleep with the wet pillowcase. He said no but still fusses that he wants his pillowcase. In the end papa had to iron dry his case and he was happy that his case was dry.
He repeated this story to mama at bedtime for the next few nights

Kaiyang passed motion and daddy and him were in the toilet changing/cleaning up.
Papa: Kaiyang look, your poo has so many diff colours! There are black kiwi seeds and orange carrot blah blah blah...
Kaiyang: Oh my goodness! (Papa and mama were amused/surprised & burst out laughing)

Mummy was lying on the at opposite end with her head near the edge instead of the wall.

Mama: why do you say that?? (horrified, then realized he's been seeing didi all swaddled up, and prob not seen his hands.)
Mama: didi has hands, mummy will show you next time ok?

Points to a book on the shelf and says: I read this book before.

After putting all the library books onto his book shelf, he runs off, then stopped, turned around and said 'mummy don't touch my books ok?' before running off again.
We were celebrating ah kong's birthday and when it's time to blow the candle, KY push ah kong forward and ask ah kong to blow the candle! He proudly recollected this at bedtime. And brought up the time when he blew ah neh's candle for her birthday. My boy has grown up!

Watched his first F1 race. His most notable observation was that the side mirrors of the racing cars cannot be closed.
Also had a lesson on the safety car when it came out after an accident.
He teared when I read a book on an orangutan being mauled on the leg by a tiger, saying 'orangutan's leg painful'.

The buggy has no energy to go up the slope.
Uses the word promise a lot. When he wants you to agree to something. He will promise 'to eat his lunch' etc. or he will remind you of something you promised to do earlier but have not done.
